About The Position
PAM Health is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to care for its diverse patient population. The role provides direct patient care and involves planning and implementing individualized treatment programs according to the principles and practices of Physical Therapy in the PAM Health System. The PTA works under the direction of a Physical Therapist and may contribute to further development of services. The position requires flexibility to meet the needs of the system across different facilities. Prior inpatient hospital experience or a commitment and desire to learn is welcomed.
Requirements
- PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
- Current BLS certification.
- One year of clinical experience is preferred.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
- Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to Physical Therapy principles and practices in the PAM Health System.
- Participate in the further development of services.
- Be flexible in meeting the needs of the system across different facilities.
