About The Position
PAM Health is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to care for a diverse patient population. The role provides direct patient care and involves planning and implementing individualized treatment programs according to the principles and practices of Physical Therapy within the PAM Health System. The PTA works under the direction of a Physical Therapist and may contribute to further development of services. The employee must be flexible to meet system needs across different facilities. PAM Health cares for chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care.
Requirements
- PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic resides.
- Current BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- Prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.
- One year of clinical experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
- Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to Physical Therapy principles and practices within the PAM Health System.
- Participate in the further development of services.
- Be flexible to meet system needs across different facilities.
