About The Position

PAM Health is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant for a new inpatient rehabilitation hospital opening in winter. The role offers a flexible schedule and serves a diverse patient population. PAM Health cares for chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. The Physical Therapist Assistant works under the direction of a Physical Therapist and provides direct patient care, planning and implementing treatment programs for individual patients in accordance with Physical Therapy principles and PAM Health System practices. The role also contributes to further development of the services and requires flexibility to meet system needs across different facilities. Requirements

PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
Current BLS certification.

Nice To Haves

One year of clinical experience is preferred.
Prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to Physical Therapy principles and PAM Health System practices.
Participate in further development of the services.
Remain flexible to meet system needs across different facilities.
