About The Position
PAM Health is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to care for a diverse patient population at Miamisburg Rehab. The organization provides specialty healthcare services for chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. The ideal candidate has prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn. Under the direction of a Physical Therapist, the PTA provides direct patient care and plans and implements treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of physical therapy in the PAM Health System. The role also contributes to the further development of services and requires flexibility to meet the system’s needs across different facilities.
Requirements
- PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
- Current BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- One year of clinical experience is preferred.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience, or a desire and commitment to learn.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
- Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to physical therapy principles and practices in the PAM Health System.
- Contribute to the further development of services.
- Remain flexible to meet the needs of the system across different facilities.
