Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - PRN Weekends | Beaumont Rehab
About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to provide care for a diverse patient population at Beaumont Rehab. The position offers a flexible schedule and requires working a minimum of two weekends per month. Prior inpatient hospital experience is preferred, though candidates with a commitment and desire to learn are also encouraged to apply. Under the direction of a Physical Therapist, the PTA provides direct patient care and plans and implements treatment programs for individual patients according to Physical Therapy principles and practices within the PAM Health System. The role also contributes to the further development of services and requires flexibility to meet the needs of the system across different facilities. PAM Health cares for chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care.
Requirements
- Hold a PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
- Have current BLS certification.
- Work a minimum of two weekends per month.
Nice To Haves
- One year of clinical experience is preferred.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience, or a desire and commitment to learn.
Responsibilities
