About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to provide care to a diverse population of chronically and critically ill patients requiring extended hospital care. Under the direction of a Physical Therapist, the PTA provides direct patient care and plans and implements individualized treatment programs according to the principles and practices of Physical Therapy in the PAM Health System. The role also contributes to further development of services and requires flexibility to meet system needs across different facilities. The position is advertised for days and weekends, with a flexible schedule.
Requirements
- Hold a PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
- Have current BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- One year of clinical experience is preferred.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
- Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to Physical Therapy principles and practices in the PAM Health System.
- Contribute to the further development of services.
- Be flexible to meet system needs across different facilities.
