The company provides therapy solutions designed with patients, partners, and clinicians in mind. The PRN Physical Therapist works at Pivot at Edgemere Estates in El Paso, Texas.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Physical Therapy.
- Hold a current physical therapist license in the state of practice.
- Have good communication skills and the ability to relate professionally and positively to patients, patients’ family members, and staff.
- Be capable of performing the job responsibilities, with or without reasonable accommodations.
Responsibilities
- Screen, evaluate, and treat patients.
- Complete comprehensive evaluations using appropriate evaluation and assessment tools and procedures.
- Review patient records for current diagnoses, past medical history, precautions, and contraindications.
- Establish measurable goals and develop treatment plans to help patients reach their maximum level of independence and/or function.
- Supervise physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation technicians in direct patient care and patient-related activities in accordance with the state practice act.
- Interpret and communicate evaluation findings and treatment programs to patients, family members, and other team members.
