About The Position

Glazer’s Beer & Beverage is seeking a Merchandiser to perform merchandising activities within an assigned territory, including product rotation, stocking, display presentation and execution, installation of point-of-sale displays, and constructing displays requested by the sales team or retail customers. The role may also expedite product deliveries at the request of management. It involves supporting positive relationships with retail customers and completing related stock, shelf-reset, and backroom duties. The position requires a regular, ongoing onsite presence, including at non-company locations where the company conducts business, for the majority of the time according to the schedule set by supervisors or branch management. Physical duties include handling materials weighing up to 50 pounds and heavier weights with proper equipment, and standing or walking for an entire shift of 8–10–12 hours.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience.
• Ability to secure and maintain a valid driver’s license and auto-liability insurance in accordance with state laws.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and heavier weights with proper equipment.
• Ability to stand or walk for an entire shift of 8–10–12 hours.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with beverage product sales or in the hospitality industry.
• Presentation skills to effectively communicate, update, persuade, and/or facilitate discussions with all levels of management.
• Interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, other business areas, and government agencies as required.
• Demonstrated high-level proficiency in oral and written communication.
• Planning and organizational skills to coordinate workload across multiple assignments.

Responsibilities

• Assist the sales team with maintaining positive relationships with retail customers.
