About The Position

The Merchandiser displays and arranges beverage products on shelves, displays, and other store areas to attract customers, while providing excellent customer service to store owners and customers and effectively resolving complaints or grievances. The role requires accuracy and the ability to work without direct supervision. The position is based in El Paso, Texas, and requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds. The work environment is usually moderately noisy, with occasional exposure to outside weather conditions. The Merchandiser arranges products according to prearranged plans or management-approved ideas; places price and descriptive signs; transfers products from customer stock rooms to floor displays to follow sell-by dates and optimize in-store stock; and orders products for assigned accounts according to established procedures. The role also develops or follows display suggestions and schedules, communicates daily with key store personnel about service or product needs, and assembles display aids from company-provided point-of-sale materials. Employees must wear the company-provided uniform and maintain a professional, well-groomed appearance. Other duties may be assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older.
Valid driver’s license required.
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
High level of accuracy.
Ability to work without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

Arrange beverage products according to prearranged plans or management-approved ideas.
Place price and descriptive signs on backdrops, fixtures, merchandise, or floors.
Transfer products from customer stock rooms to floor displays to comply with sell-by dates, maximize in-store product, and minimize stockroom inventory.
Order products for assigned accounts according to established procedures to prevent out-of-stock conditions.
Develop display ideas or follow suggestions or schedules from the Merchandiser Manager and Sales Manager.
Communicate daily with key store personnel regarding service or product needs.
Construct or assemble display aids using company-provided point-of-sale materials.
Wear the company-provided uniform and maintain a professional, well-groomed appearance.
Provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve complaints or grievances.
Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
