About The Position
The Merchandiser displays and arranges beverage products on shelves, displays, and other areas to attract customers, and provides customer service to store owners and customers. The role resolves complaints or grievances and requires accuracy and the ability to work without direct supervision. The position is based in El Paso, Texas. The Merchandiser must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid driver’s license, and be able to lift up to 70 pounds. The work environment is usually moderately noisy, with occasional exposure to outside weather conditions. The Merchandiser arranges products according to a prearranged plan or management-approved ideas, places price and descriptive signs, moves products from stock rooms to floor displays to comply with sell-by dates and optimize store inventory, and orders products for assigned accounts. The role develops or follows display suggestions and schedules, communicates daily with key store personnel about service and product needs, assembles display aids using company-provided point-of-sale materials, and wears a company-provided uniform while maintaining a professional, well-groomed appearance. Other duties may be assigned by a supervisor. Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds.
- Must demonstrate a high level of accuracy.
- Must be able to work without direct supervision.
Responsibilities
- Arrange products according to a prearranged plan or management-approved ideas.
- Place price and descriptive signs on backdrops, fixtures, merchandise, or floors.
- Transfer products from customer stock rooms to floor displays to comply with sell-by dates, maximize in-store product, and minimize stock-room inventory.
- Order products for assigned accounts in accordance with established procedures to prevent out-of-stock conditions.
- Develop display ideas or follow suggestions or schedules from the Merchandiser Manager and Sales Manager.
- Communicate daily with key store personnel about service or product needs.
- Construct or assemble display aids using company-provided point-of-sale materials.
- Wear the company-provided uniform and maintain a professional, well-groomed appearance.
- Provide customer service to store owners and customers and effectively resolve complaints or grievances.
- Perform other duties assigned by a supervisor.
