Physical Therapist (PT) - PRN | South Point Rehab
About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist for its new inpatient rehabilitation hospital in South Point, opening this winter. The role provides care for a diverse patient population, including chronically and critically ill patients who may require extended hospital care. Candidates should have prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn. The Physical Therapist is responsible for patient management and for delivering, directing, and supervising care in an age-appropriate manner. Care must be consistent with the Physical Therapy Practice Act of the state where the hospital or clinic resides, the professional code of ethics, and PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Requirements
- Physical Therapist license in the state where the hospital or clinic resides.
- Current BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- One year of clinical experience preferred.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience, or a desire and commitment to learn.
Responsibilities
- Manage patients and provide care in an age-appropriate manner.
- Deliver, direct, and supervise physical therapy care in accordance with the applicable state Physical Therapy Practice Act, professional code of ethics, and PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines.
