About The Position
PAM Health is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide care to its diverse patient population. The role focuses on chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. The ideal candidate has prior inpatient hospital experience or is committed to learning in that setting. Under the direction of a Physical Therapist, the PTA provides direct patient care and plans and implements individualized treatment programs in accordance with Physical Therapy principles and practices within the PAM Health System. The role also contributes to further development of services and requires flexibility to meet the system’s needs across different facilities. This is a PRN position with weekend work and a flexible schedule. Requirements
- A PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
- Current BLS certification.
- One year of clinical experience is preferred.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.
