About The Position

PAM Health is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to care for a diverse patient population, including chronically and critically ill patients who may require extended hospital care. The PTA provides direct patient care and plans and implements individualized treatment programs according to the principles and practices of physical therapy within the PAM Health System. The role works under the direction of a Physical Therapist and may contribute to further development of services. The PTA must be flexible to meet system needs across different facilities. Prior inpatient hospital experience is welcomed, and candidates with a commitment to learning are also encouraged to apply. The position is listed as PRN.

Requirements

Hold a PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
Have current BLS certification.

Nice To Haves

One year of clinical experience is preferred.
Prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to physical therapy principles and practices within the PAM Health System.
Participate in the further development of services.
Be flexible to meet system needs across different facilities.
