About The Position
PAM Health is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide care to a diverse patient population at its inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Westminster, Colorado. The role focuses on direct patient care and on planning and implementing individualized treatment programs under the direction of a Physical Therapist, following Physical Therapy principles and practices within the PAM Health System. The PTA will also contribute to the further development of services and must be flexible to meet system needs across different facilities. The ideal candidate has prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.
Requirements
- Active PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic is located; an active Colorado PTA license is required for this role.
- Current BLS certification is required.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.
Nice To Haves
- One year of clinical experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
- Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to Physical Therapy principles and practices in the PAM Health System.
