About The Position

PAM Health is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for Dover Rehab, with weekday and/or weekend availability and a flexible schedule. The PTA will care for a diverse patient population. Prior inpatient hospital experience is desired, though a commitment to learn is also welcomed. Under the direction of a Physical Therapist, the PTA provides direct patient care and plans and implements treatment programs for individual patients in accordance with Physical Therapy principles and practices within the PAM Health System. The role also contributes to further development of services and requires flexibility to meet the system’s needs across different facilities. Requirements

Hold a PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
Have current BLS certification.

Nice To Haves

One year of clinical experience is preferred.
Prior inpatient hospital experience, or a desire and commitment to learn.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to Physical Therapy principles and practices in the PAM Health System.
Contribute to the further development of services.
