About The Position
PAM Health is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to care for a diverse patient population in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. The role is intended for someone with weekday and/or weekend availability, with a flexible schedule. The ideal candidate has prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn. PAM Health cares for chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. Under the direction of a Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapist Assistant provides direct patient care and plans and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of Physical Therapy in the PAM Health System. The role also contributes to the further development of services and requires flexibility to meet the needs of the system across different facilities.
Requirements
- PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic resides.
- Current BLS certification.
- One year of clinical experience is preferred.

- Prior inpatient hospital experience, or a desire and commitment to learn.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
- Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to Physical Therapy principles and practices in the PAM Health System.
