Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) PRN | Surprise Rehab
About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to provide care for a diverse patient population. The role is primarily responsible for direct patient care and for planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients, under the direction of a Physical Therapist and in accordance with the principles and practices of Physical Therapy in the PAM Health System. The PTA will also contribute to further development of services and must be flexible to meet the system’s needs across different facilities. Prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn is noted as ideal.
Requirements
- Hold a PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
- Have current BLS certification.
- Be flexible to meet the needs of the system across different facilities.

- One year of clinical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
- Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients in accordance with Physical Therapy principles and practices in the PAM Health System.
- Participate in further development of the services.
- Remain flexible to meet the system’s needs across different facilities.
