About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to provide care to a diverse patient population in an inpatient setting. The ideal candidate has prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn. PAM Health cares for chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. Under the direction of a Physical Therapist, the PTA provides direct patient care and plans and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of Physical Therapy in the PAM Health System. The position also contributes to further development of services and requires flexibility to meet system needs across different facilities.
Requirements
- Hold a PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic resides.
- Have current BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- Prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.
- One year of clinical experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
- Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to Physical Therapy principles and practices in the PAM Health System.
- Contribute to the further development of services.
- Be flexible to meet system needs across different facilities.
