About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to provide care to a diverse patient population in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. The role may offer a flexible schedule. PAM Health cares for chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care and operates more than 80 hospital locations across the country. Under the direction of a Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapist Assistant provides direct patient care and plans and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of Physical Therapy in the PAM Health System. The role also contributes to the further development of services and requires flexibility to meet the system’s needs across different facilities. Requirements
- Hold a PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
- Maintain current BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- One year of clinical experience is preferred.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
- Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients in accordance with Physical Therapy principles and practices in the PAM Health System.
- Contribute to the further development of services.
- Be flexible to meet the needs of the system across different facilities.
