About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is hiring a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) physician to provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility and use modern wound-management modalities and clinical technologies. The practice provides physician-level wound-management training, onboarding, and a six-month wound care fellowship. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. This is a mobile practice, with physicians visiting facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. Physicians typically visit two to three facilities and treat approximately 20–30 patients per day. Full-time schedules are four to five weekdays per week, with Monday–Friday hours listed as 7 a.m.–4 p.m.; part-time opportunities require at least three weekdays per week. There are no night, call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. The role is W-2 employment, and work visa sponsorship is not available. The posting states compensation of $200,000–$350,000 per year and says W-2 physicians earn an average of $300,000 per year for a 30-hour work week, plus benefits.
