About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is hiring a Physical Medicine and Rehab (PM&R) Physician to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility and typically visit 2–3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20–30 patients. This is a mobile practice serving facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The position offers full-time and part-time schedules. Full-time physicians work 4–5 days per week, Monday through Friday, with a stated schedule of 7 a.m.–4 p.m.; part-time physicians work a minimum of 3 days per week. There are no nights, on-call duties, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. W2 physicians earn an average of $300,000 per year, with a stated salary range of $200,000–$350,000 per year. W2 employment is offered; work visa sponsorship is not available.

Requirements

Hold a full, active, unrestricted medical license (MD or DO) in the state where practicing.
Commit to at least 3 weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
