Physical Medicine and Rehab Physician - Beeville, TX
About The Position
National Wound Physician Group is hiring a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) physician to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility and use modern wound-care modalities and clinical technologies. Training is provided during onboarding, followed by a six-month wound-care fellowship. This is a mobile practice, with physicians visiting facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. Physicians typically visit 2–3 facilities and treat approximately 20–30 patients per day. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. Full-time physicians work 4–5 days per week, Monday through Friday, with a stated schedule of 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Part-time opportunities are available with a minimum commitment of three weekdays per week. There are no night, call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. This is W-2 employment; work visa sponsorship is not available. The stated salary range is $200,000–$350,000 per year, and W-2 physicians earn an average of $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week.
Requirements
- Hold an active, full, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where the physician wishes to practice.
- Commit to a minimum of three weekdays per week.
