About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is hiring an Emergency Medicine Physician to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, generally visiting two to three facilities per day and treating approximately 20–30 patients daily. The mobile practice covers facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The position offers full-time and part-time schedules. Full-time physicians work four to five days per week, Monday through Friday, with a stated schedule of 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.; part-time physicians work at least three days per week. There are no night, call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. This is W-2 employment, and work visa sponsorship is not available.

Requirements

Hold a full, active, unrestricted medical license in the state where the physician wishes to practice; MD or DO.
Commit to at least three weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
