Infectious Disease Physician - Beeville, TX
About The Position
National Wound Physician Group is hiring an Infectious Disease Physician to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, typically visiting 2–3 facilities and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific electronic medical record. The role offers full-time and part-time schedules. Full-time physicians work 4–5 days per week, Monday through Friday, with a stated schedule of 7 a.m.–4 p.m.; part-time physicians work at least 3 days per week. There are no night, call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. Employment is W-2, and work visa sponsorship is unavailable.
Requirements
- Hold an active, full, and unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where the physician wishes to practice.
- Commit to working at least 3 weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
