About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is seeking an Infectious Disease Physician to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, visiting 2–3 facilities per day within a 40–60-mile radius and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. This mobile practice offers full-time work Monday through Friday, with schedules described as 7 a.m.–4 p.m. and 4–5 days per week, as well as part-time opportunities requiring at least 3 weekdays per week. There are no night, call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. The position is W-2 employment; work visa sponsorship is not available.
