About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is hiring an Infectious Disease Physician to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility and typically visit 2–3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20–30 patients daily. This is a mobile practice covering facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. Physicians receive paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship, with instruction from wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors. The role offers full-time schedules of four to five weekdays per week, typically Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.; part-time opportunities require at least three days per week. There are no call, weekend, or night clinical responsibilities. The position is W-2 employment, and work visa sponsorship is not available. W-2 physicians earn an average of $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week. The advertised salary range is $200,000–$350,000 per year.

Requirements

Hold a full, active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where the physician wishes to practice.
Commit to at least three weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
