Wound Care Physician - Warsaw, MO
About The Position
National Wound Physician Group is hiring a Wound Care Physician to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, typically visiting 2–3 facilities and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The position offers full-time schedules of four to five weekdays per week, Monday through Friday, or part-time schedules of at least three weekdays per week. The stated full-time schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. There are no night, call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. Physicians work under a W-2 employment contract; work visa sponsorship is not available.
Requirements
- Hold an active, full, and unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where you wish to practice.
- Commit to working at least three weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
