Urgent Care Physician - Warsaw, MO
About The Position
National Wound Physician Group is hiring an Urgent Care Physician to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility and typically visit 2–3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20–30 patients. The mobile practice covers facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The position offers full-time work, generally 4–5 days per week, or part-time work of at least 3 days per week. The stated full-time schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. There are no night, call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. The role is W-2 employment; work visa sponsorship is not available.
Requirements
- Hold a full, active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where practicing.
- Commit to at least 3 weekdays per week; practice days are Monday through Friday.
