Internal Medicine Physician - Warsaw, MO
About The Position
National Wound Physician Group is hiring an Internal Medicine Physician to provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, typically visiting 2–3 facilities per day and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day. The mobile practice involves travel within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location, with real-time clinical documentation using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The role offers full-time and part-time schedules. Full-time physicians generally work 4–5 weekdays, Monday through Friday, with a stated schedule of 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.; part-time physicians must commit to at least 3 weekdays per week. There are no night, on-call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. Employment is W-2, and work visa sponsorship is not available.
Requirements
- Hold an active, full, and unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where practicing.
- Commit to at least 3 weekdays per week.
