About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is hiring a Family Medicine Physician to provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility and typically visit 2–3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20–30 patients per day. The mobile practice covers facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The role offers full-time schedules of four to five weekdays per week, generally Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.; part-time opportunities are also available for a minimum of three days per week. There are no nights, on-call duties, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. The position is W-2 employment, and work visa sponsorship is not available. Requirements

Hold a full, active, and unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where practicing.
