About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is hiring an Infectious Disease Physician for a mobile wound-care practice serving post-acute care facilities near Warsaw, Missouri. Physicians provide bedside wound management at Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals, conducting weekly wound rounds at each facility. The practice uses modern wound-care modalities, clinical technologies, and a proprietary wound-specific EMR for real-time documentation during clinical rounds. Physicians typically visit two to three facilities and treat approximately 20–30 patients per day within a 40–60-mile radius of the practice location. The role offers full-time and part-time schedules, with full-time work generally four to five days per week and part-time work at least three weekdays per week. The listed full-time schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. There are no night, call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound-care fellowship are provided. W2 physicians earn an average of $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week; the advertised salary range is $200,000–$350,000 per year. No work visa sponsorship is available.

Requirements

Hold a full, active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where practicing.
Commit to at least three weekdays per week, within the Monday-through-Friday working days.
