National Wound Physician Group is hiring an Urgent Care Physician to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility and typically visit 2–3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20–30 patients daily. The role is mobile, with facility visits within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. Physicians receive paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship, learning from wound-certified physician trainers and fellowship directors. The position includes access to modern wound care modalities, cutting-edge clinical technologies, and a proprietary wound-specific EMR for real-time documentation at the point of care. Full-time physicians generally work four to five weekdays per week, Monday through Friday, during a stated 7 a.m.–4 p.m. schedule. Part-time opportunities are available with a minimum commitment of three weekdays per week. There are no nights, on-call duties, or weekend clinical responsibilities. The posting states that W-2 physicians earn an average of $300,000 per year, and gives a salary range of $200,000–$350,000 per year. W-2 employment is offered; work visa sponsorship is unavailable.
