About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is hiring a Family Medicine Physician to provide bedside wound care in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, typically visiting 2–3 facilities and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day within a 40–60-mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The role offers full-time work, typically 4–5 weekdays per week, with a Monday–Friday schedule of 7 a.m.–4 p.m.; part-time opportunities are also available with a minimum commitment of 3 days per week. There are no night, on-call, weekend, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. The position is W-2 employment, and work visa sponsorship is unavailable. The posting lists annual compensation of $200,000–$350,000 and notes that W-2 physicians earn an average of $300,000 per year for a 30-hour work week, plus benefits.

Requirements

Hold an active, full, and unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where practicing.
