Internal Medicine Physician - Warsaw, MO
About The Position
National Wound Physician Group is hiring an Internal Medicine Physician to provide bedside wound care in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, typically visiting 2–3 facilities and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The role offers full-time work, generally 4–5 days per week, or part-time work with a minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week. The stated full-time schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. There are no nights, call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. The position is W-2 employment; work visa sponsorship is not available.
Requirements
- Hold a full, active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where practicing.
- Commit to at least 3 weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
