Internal Medicine Physician - Fredericksburg, TX
About The Position
National Wound Physician Group is hiring an Internal Medicine Physician to provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, visiting 2–3 facilities per day and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. This mobile practice offers full-time work four to five days per week, Monday through Friday, with a stated full-time schedule of 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.; part-time work is also available for a minimum of three days per week. There are no nights, calls, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. The position is W-2 employment, and work visa sponsorship is not available.
Requirements
- Hold a full, active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where the physician wishes to practice.
- Commit to at least three weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
