Family Medicine Physician - Fredericksburg, TX
About The Position
National Wound Physician Group is hiring a Family Medicine Physician to provide bedside wound care in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, typically visiting 2–3 facilities and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day within a 40–60-mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using the company’s proprietary wound-specific EMR. The role offers full-time and part-time options. Full-time physicians generally work 4–5 days per week, Monday through Friday, with a stated schedule of 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.; part-time physicians must commit to at least 3 weekdays per week. There are no nights, on-call duties, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. This is W-2 employment; work visa sponsorship is unavailable.
Requirements
- Hold an active, full, unrestricted medical license in the state where the physician wishes to practice.
- Commit to at least 3 weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
- Possess an MD or DO.
