Wound Care Physician - Fredericksburg, TX
About The Position
National Wound Physician Group is hiring a Wound Care Physician to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility and use a proprietary wound-specific EMR to document care in real time at the point of care. The mobile practice includes visits to facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location, typically 2–3 facilities and approximately 20–30 patients per day. The position offers full-time schedules of 4–5 weekdays per week, typically Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., as well as part-time opportunities requiring at least 3 weekdays per week. There are no night, on-call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. This is W-2 employment; work visa sponsorship is not available.
Requirements
- Hold a full, active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where the physician wishes to practice.
- Commit to at least 3 weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
