Phlebotomist Float-Patient Services Representative

About The Position
The Patient Services Representative (PSR) supports MultiCare Lab Services through patient registration and order entry, phlebotomy, and specimen processing. Depending on the location, the role may also involve specimen pick-up in offices, report sorting and delivery, supply delivery, and other tasks related to the operation of the site. The position is 1.0 FTE, works day shifts on a Monday–Friday schedule, and includes occasional Saturdays.
Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent is preferred.
- Current Medical Assistant-Certified, Medical Assistant-Phlebotomy Certification, or eligibility for Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist certification; eligible employees must complete training and submit an application within 90 days of hire.

- Completion of a phlebotomy course or training.
- Phlebotomy experience.
- Previous experience dealing with the public.
Responsibilities
- Register patients and enter orders.
- Perform phlebotomy.
