About The Position
The Patient Services Representative supports MultiCare Lab Services by handling patient registration and order entry, performing phlebotomy, and processing specimens. Depending on the location, the role may also include picking up specimens in offices, sorting and delivering reports, delivering supplies, and other tasks related to the operation of the site.
Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent is preferred.
- Current Medical Assistant-Certified, Medical Assistant-Phlebotomy Certification, or eligibility for Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist certification; training must be completed and an application submitted within 90 days of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Completion of a phlebotomy course or training.
- Phlebotomy experience.
- Previous experience dealing with the public.
