About The Position
The Patient Services Representative supports MultiCare Lab Services by performing patient registration and order entry, phlebotomy, and specimen processing. Depending on the location, the role may also involve picking up specimens in offices, sorting and delivering reports, delivering supplies, and completing other tasks related to the operation of the location. The position is 1.0 FTE on a day shift, with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional Saturdays.
Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent is preferred.
- Hold current Medical Assistant-Certified, Medical Assistant-Phlebotomy Certification, or Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist eligibility; training must be completed and an application submitted within 90 days of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Completion of a phlebotomy course or training.
- Phlebotomy experience.
- Previous experience dealing with the public.
Responsibilities
