About The Position

The Patient Services Representative supports MultiCare Lab Services through patient registration and order entry, phlebotomy, and specimen processing. Depending on the location, the role may also include picking up specimens in offices, sorting and delivering reports, delivering supplies, and performing other tasks related to the operation of the site. This position is based at MultiCare Allenmore Hospital in Tacoma and is scheduled for a 0.2 FTE day shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on weekends.

Requirements

• Current Medical Assistant-Certified, Medical Assistant-Phlebotomy Certification, or eligibility for Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist; eligible candidates must complete the training and submit an application within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• Completion of a phlebotomy course or training.
• Phlebotomy experience.
• Previous experience dealing with the public.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and enter orders.
• Perform phlebotomy.
