Patient Services Representative - Float
About The Position
Ear, Nose, and Throat Specialists of Wisconsin is hiring a full-time Patient Services Representative to float between its Neenah and Oshkosh clinics. Based on staffing and operational needs, the representative may welcome and check in patients at either clinic or answer patient calls and schedule appointments from the Oshkosh office. The role involves changing daily assignments and occasional travel to other Fox Valley clinic locations for reception coverage. The workplace is described as relaxed, casual, supportive, and team-oriented, with variety, autonomy, training, and growth opportunities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in a customer service or office setting.
- Availability for full-time hours, Monday through Friday (40 hours per week).
- Ability and willingness to regularly work at both the Neenah and Oshkosh locations.
- Flexibility to alternate between front desk responsibilities and phone coverage as needed.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, professional front desk coverage at the Neenah and Oshkosh clinics.
- Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, and assist patients as part of the Oshkosh phone team.
- Confirm online bookings and greet patients professionally.
- Verify patient demographics and scan insurance cards and other documents.
- Prepare patient charts for upcoming visits.
- Accurately enter and manage patient data in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Collaborate with the team through the EMR, email, and Microsoft Teams.
- Adapt daily assignments to clinic needs and alternate between front desk and phone coverage.
- Occasionally travel to other Fox Valley clinic locations to provide reception coverage.
