About The Position

Onco360, a closed-door specialty pharmacy located in Waltham, Massachusetts, is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for its outbound phone support team. The position is remote after an onsite training period. The role supports patients and healthcare providers by phone, coordinates medication refill deliveries, and works with insurance companies on rejected claims and prior authorizations. The company seeks compassionate, customer-service-focused certified pharmacy technicians who are confident speaking with patients and providers.

The position is full-time. Starting pay is $23.00 per hour and up, with a $3.00 per hour shift differential for weekend schedules. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for employees who start before December 28, 2026. The company also offers quarterly incentive bonuses and a $500 bonus for technicians who obtain CPhT and/or CPhT-ADV credentials.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician; licensed or registered as required by state law.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and be flexible.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, including sig codes and Roman numerals, brand and generic medication names, and general pharmacy terminology.
• Basic math and analytical skills.
• Intermediate typing and keyboarding skills.

Nice To Haves

• CPhT and/or CPhT-ADV credentials; a $500 bonus is offered for technicians who obtain them.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers and patients by phone, answering questions and requests.
• Communicate with patients and physician office staff to coordinate medication refill deliveries.
• Work with insurance companies regarding rejected claims and prior authorizations.
• Serve as a primary contact for calls to patients and physicians.
• Input information accurately and efficiently.
