Pharmacy Technician - Fulfillment/Outbound Flex
About The Position
Onco360 is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for its on-site Specialty Pharmacy in Woodridge, Illinois. The role flexes between fulfillment and outbound phone support as needed. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, from 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. CST. The starting salary is $23 per hour and up, with quarterly incentive bonuses and a $5,000 sign-on bonus for employees who start before December 28, 2026. Requirements
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and be flexible.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, including sig codes and Roman numerals, brand and generic medication names, and general pharmacy terminology.
- Ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently when inputting information.
- Licensed or registered pharmacy technician, as required by state law.
- Basic math and analytical skills.
- Intermediate typing and keyboarding skills.
- High school education or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
- Registration with the Board of Pharmacy as required by state law and Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB) certification.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy in compliance with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Prepare prescriptions for dispensing, including printing labels, selecting and pulling medications from stock, counting medications, and labeling the final product.
- Package and organize daily prescription orders for shipment.
- Receive, order, and manage medication inventory.
- Assist healthcare providers and patients by phone, answering questions and requests.
- Communicate with patients and physician office staff to coordinate medication refill deliveries.
