Pharmacy Technician - Fulfillment/Outbound Flex
About The Position
Onco360 Pharmacy is hiring a full-time Pharmacy Technician for its specialty pharmacy in Woodridge, Illinois. This on-site position blends fulfillment work with outbound phone support as needed. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. CST. Starting pay is $23 per hour and up. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered to employees who start before December 28, 2026. The role offers quarterly incentive bonuses and opportunities for growth. Onco360 is an oncology pharmacy serving community, oncology, and hematology physicians, patients, payers, and manufacturers. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of pharmacy technician experience.
- Registration with the Board of Pharmacy as required by state law.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB).
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and be flexible.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, including sig codes and Roman numerals, brand and generic medication names, and general pharmacy terminology.
- Ability to input information accurately and efficiently.
- Basic math and analytical skills.
- Intermediate typing and keyboarding skills.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy in compliance with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Prepare prescriptions for dispensing by printing labels, selecting and pulling medications from stock shelves, counting medications, and labeling the finished product.
- Package and organize daily prescription orders for shipment.
- Receive, order, and manage medication inventory.
- Assist health care providers and patients by phone, responding to questions and requests.
- Communicate with patients and physician office staff to coordinate medication refill deliveries.
