Pharmacy Technician, IV Admix, PRN, Baptist Medical Center Beaches
About The Position
Baptist Health is seeking a Registered IV Admix Pharmacy Technician for Baptist Medical Center Beaches in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. This PRN role works various shifts and supports medication preparation and distribution in the hospital pharmacy. Duties include filling the Omnicell automated dispensing cabinet, delivering medications to different floors, packaging medications in the central pharmacy, and spending 3–4 hours in the IV room preparing sterile compounds. The technician works closely with pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare providers to support safe and timely medication therapy, including for critical care, surgery, oncology, and intensive care patients. All activities are performed under the supervision of a Florida-licensed Pharmacist.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
- Hospital and IV room experience required.
- High school diploma required.
- Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPT) with the Florida Board of Pharmacy required.
Nice To Haves
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPT).
Responsibilities
- Assist the Pharmacist on duty.
