About The Position

The Pharmacy Manager leads pharmacy operations and patient-care services at Albertsons Companies. Under the direction of the Division Pharmacy Manager, this role is responsible for the pharmacy’s financial performance and serves as pharmacist in charge. The manager delivers direct patient care and wellness services, supports disease-state management and medication-therapy optimization, and helps patients manage acute and chronic conditions. The position also upholds operational, safety, and compliance standards and supervises the pharmacy team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Pharm.D., or equivalent FPGEC (NABP).
• Active pharmacy license in the state or states of practice, with all held licenses in good standing.
• Certified Immunizer required.
• Ability to work a variety of schedules.

Nice To Haves

• One year of supervisory experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Actively deliver patient-care services.
• Uphold operational standards, including performance metrics, safety, and compliance.
• Recruit, train, and supervise the pharmacy team.
• Partner with management to develop and implement initiatives that increase profitability.
• Take responsibility for the pharmacy’s financial performance and act as pharmacist in charge.
• Provide wellness services, support disease-state management, optimize medication therapy, and assist with management of acute and chronic conditions.
