About The Position
As a Pharmacy Grad Intern at Walmart, you will gain hands-on experience supporting pharmacy operations and helping improve customers’ health and well-being in a community pharmacy setting. You will support customer care and safety, provide patient care, and help ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies. The role includes processing prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases, receiving and stocking merchandise and supplies, maintaining inventory and the pharmacy area, and protecting confidential information. You will also help patients navigate clinical therapies and support community activities, outreach, and events.
Requirements
- Be enrolled in the final year at an accredited pharmacy school.
- Demonstrate proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementing best practices.
- Have the ability to foster relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
- Be able to address individual patient needs.
- Follow HIPAA and protected health information (PHI) guidelines.

- Bachelor of Science.
- Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records in accordance with company policies and local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Help process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
- Recognize patients, assess their needs, and help them navigate clinical therapies.
- Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
- Manage inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.
- Participate in community activities, outreach, and events.
