About The Position

Join Walmart's pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Grad Intern to gain hands-on experience in a community pharmacy setting. The role supports customer health and well-being by helping provide patient care and contributing to pharmacy operations. The team focuses on customer care, safety, clinical care, and compliance with legal and company policies. The position is intended for someone enrolled in the final year of an accredited pharmacy school.

Requirements

• Enrolled in the final year at an accredited pharmacy school.
• Proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementing best practices.
• Ability to foster relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
• Ability to cater to individual patient needs.
• Commitment to following HIPAA and PHI guidelines.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
• Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records in accordance with company policies and local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Help process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
• Deliver patient care by recognizing patients, assessing their needs, and helping them navigate clinical therapies.
• Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
• Support pharmacy inventory management and maintain the pharmacy area.
• Participate in community activities, outreach, and events.
