About The Position

As a Pharmacy Grad Intern at Walmart, you will gain hands-on experience in a community pharmacy while supporting customer health and well-being. You will help provide clinical care, promote patient safety, and support pharmacy operations in compliance with applicable laws and company policies. The role includes handling prescription and over-the-counter orders, helping patients navigate clinical therapies, and assisting with merchandise and inventory.

Requirements

Be enrolled in the final year at an accredited pharmacy school.
Demonstrate proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementing best practices.
Build effective relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
Address individual patient needs.
Follow HIPAA and protected health information (PHI) guidelines.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science degree.
Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification.

Responsibilities

Protect confidential information, documentation, and assigned records in accordance with company policies and local, state, and federal guidelines.
Help process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
Recognize patients, assess their needs, and help them navigate clinical therapies.
Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
Manage inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.
Participate in community activities, outreach, and events.
